1.2. In this Cookie Policy, you can read which information Egydise collects, why Egydise uses cookies and for what purpose, who has access to the information, and who to contact if you have any inquiries about the information collected.

2.1. By continuing to use the Platforms, you accept this Cookie Policy and give Egydise consent to collect and process the information about you described in this Cookie Policy.

2.2. You are entitled at any time to withdraw your consent to Egydise’s collection and processing of the information on you. If you withdraw your consent, please note that certain parts of the Platforms might be unavailable to you, since the Platforms do not work optimally without cookies.

2.3. When Egydise places cookies, Egydise does not as a main rule collect and process information that identifies you as a person unless you give your consent hereto. You can read more about Egydise’s collection and processing of personal information in Egydise’s Privacy Policy.

  1. What are Cookies?

3.1. A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser and recognized by the Platforms if you visit the Platforms again, which makes it possible to customize the Platforms to your browser. A cookie may contain text, numbers, or e.g., a date, but generally, there are no personal data in a cookie. It is not a program and thus cannot contain a virus.

  1. Which Information is Collected?

4.1. When you visit the Platforms, Egydise automatically collects information including but not limited to e.g., the type of browser you use, the Platforms that led you to the Platforms, which search words you used on the Platforms, the number of pages you visited on the Platforms and the duration of your visits, your IP address, and information about your computer or mobile device.

4.2. Egydise collects your IP address for the purpose of system administration (e.g., to know the number of visitors logged on to the Platforms). The IP address is only stored for the duration of your visit on the Platforms, after which it will be either deleted or anonymized.

4.3. Basic Account Information.

4.3.1. If you choose to create a Egydise account, you provide us with personal information (your full name, desired username, password, email address, location, and personal phone number). On our service, your name and username are public, on your profile page and in search results. You may also add other information to your account, such as a profile picture, your biography, your country, and your contact information.

4.4. Contact Information.

4.4.1. We may use your contact information, such as a personal email address or mobile phone number, to verify your account or enable certain account features, including but not limited to, login verification via SMS. To provide us with your phone number, you agree to receive text messages to that number from us. We may use your contact information to send you information about our service, to market to you, to help prevent spam, fraud, or abuse, and to help others find your account, including through third-party services and client applications. You may use your settings for email and mobile notifications to control notifications you receive from us. You may also unsubscribe from a notification through settings.

4.5. Device Information.

4.5.1. We collect device-specific information (e.g., your hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information including phone number). We collect information from or about the computers, phones, or other devices where you install or access our service, depending on the permissions you’ve granted. We may associate the information we collect from your different devices, which helps us provide consistent Services across your devices. Here are some examples of the device information we collect; (i) Attributes: operating system (android, iOS, Windows.), hardware version, device settings, battery & signal strength, and device ID, (ii) device locations: geographic locations (through GPS, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi signal), (iii) connection information: name of your mobile operator or ISP, browser type, language and time zone, mobile phone number, and IP address.

4.6. Commerce Services.

4.6.1. You may provide your payment information (credit or debit card number, card expiration date & CVV code) to complete a commerce transaction through our service. To facilitate future purchases, we store your Payment Information (excluding CVV code). We consider your payment information private and do not make such information public.

  1. Why Egydise Uses Cookies?

5.1. Egydise uses cookies to continually improve your experience with Egydise’s service, included but not limited to, making the Platforms quicker and remembering your previous interactions with the Platforms.

5.2. Egydise can use cookies that remain on your device after you close your browser or the application to get an impression of the general use of the Platforms and thereby get statistical information (not personal information) and to improve the content of the Platforms.

  1. What Types of Cookies are Used on the Platform?

6.1. The Platforms place cookies, including “persistent cookies”, which are files or information that the browser saves on your device to collect information about your visit on the Platforms.

6.2. Necessary Cookies.

6.2.1. Necessary cookies help make a website usable by enabling basic functions like page navigation and access to secure areas of the website. The website cannot function properly without these cookies.

6.3. Statistic Cookies.

6.3.1. Statistic cookies help website owners to understand how visitors interact with websites by collecting and reporting information anonymously.

7.1. The Platforms have integrated so-called plugins (“Plugins”) for the social media service Facebook. These services are supplied by Facebook Inc. (the “Supplier”). Facebook is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”).

7.2. If you visit the Platforms with an integrated Plugin, the browser will establish a direct connection to the Supplier’s servers. The Supplier will transfer the content of the Plugin directly to the browser and integrate it on the Platforms. By integrating the Plugin, the Supplier will receive information on the browser gaining access to the page in question on the Platforms, even if you have not created a profile at the Supplier or have not logged on. This information (including information on your IP address) is transferred from the browser directly to and stored on one of the Supplier’s servers in the U.S.

7.3. If you are logged on to a social media service, the Supplier may place information about your visit directly on your profile on our Platforms. When you interact with Plugins, e.g., when you click on the “like” button, the information is directly transferred to and stored on one of the Supplier’s servers. The information may also be published on the social media service and be shown to your contacts.

  1. How Do I Deselect Cookies?

8.1. The way you deselect the use of cookies will depend on your internet browser. You can set your browser to register and reject cookies. It is, however, not certain that you will have access to all functionalities on the Platforms.

8.2. If you receive commercial email from us, you may unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions contained within the email. You may also opt-out from receiving commercial email from us, and any other promotional communications that we may send to you from time to time, by sending your request to us via email to support@Egydise.com. We may allow you to view and modify settings relating to the nature and frequency of promotional communications that you receive from us in user account functionality on the Service.

8.2.1. Please be aware that if you opt-out of receiving commercial email from us or otherwise modify the nature or frequency of promotional communications you receive from us, it may take up to ten business days for us to process your request, and you may receive promotional communications from us that you have opted out from during that period. Additionally, even after you opt-out from receiving commercial messages from us, you will continue to receive administrative messages from us regarding the Service.

11.1. Egydise is entitled to make changes to this Cookie Policy at any time. If Egydise makes any changes to the Cookie Policy, you will be informed hereof the next time you use the Platforms.

11.2. If you do not accept the newest Cookie Policy, you should not continue to use the Platforms, and your personal information will be deleted upon your request via an email to support@Egydise.com. If you continue to use the Platforms, you automatically consent to the newest Cookie Policy.
